Finding the right child care provider can be daunting for parents. Luckily, Goodwill’s Children’s Learning Center has served families in southern Indiana since 1980 by providing high-quality care and educational services.

The Children's Learning Center (CLC) by Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana opened in June 1980 as BridgePointe Children’s Academy in response to a growing need for childcare services for children with disabilities. Today, the CLC provides over 10,000 hours of childcare for all children, challenged to gifted, ranging from six weeks old to five years old, which includes more than 150 families each year.
June 19, or “Juneteenth” as it’s commonly known, commemorates the day in 1865 when enslaved Black residents in Texas learned from Union soldiers that they had been freed by the Emancipation Proclamation more than two years before.

The Children's Learning Center by Goodwill, Goodwill’s nationally accredited, early childhood education center, achieved the highest rating — Level 4 — for the fourth year in a row through Indiana’s statewide rating system, Paths to QUALITY™. Located in Clarksville, The Children's Learning Center by Goodwill is the only child care provider in southern Indiana that holds the distinction of National Early Childhood Program Accreditation.
Just 10 minutes from downtown Louisville on the Indiana side of the Ohio River, Goodwill’s Children’s Learning Center is the only child care provider in the region that holds the distinction of National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA). The Children’s Learning Center is a preschool serving children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old.

While researching, she found The Children’s Learning Center, a child development center and preschool for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. After enrolling her sons, she loved it so much that she became a teacher there as well.
