The Children's Learning Center by Goodwill earns Paths to QUALITY Level 4
The Children's Learning Center by Goodwill, Goodwill’s nationally accredited, early childhood education center, achieved the highest rating — Level 4 — for the fourth year in a row through Indiana’s statewide rating system, Paths to QUALITY™. Located in Clarksville, The Children's Learning Center by Goodwill is the only child care provider in southern Indiana that holds the distinction of National Early Childhood Program Accreditation.
The Children's Learning Center by Goodwill serves children ages six weeks to five years old. In addition to planned curricula for each age group, the school offers unique learning environments and a commitment to health and safety.
“Our philosophy is that all children can learn regardless of age or ability level,” said Michelle Cissell, The Children's Learning Center by Goodwill director. “It is our duty to assist all children in developing self-confidence, self-esteem and a sense of belonging. We are proud to serve the southern Indiana community as a Level 4 program.”
Research shows that high quality early childhood, preschool and school-age programs prepare children for future success in school, work and life. Children are more likely to excel and graduate high school.
“The Children's Learning Center by Goodwill provides over 10,000 hours of quality instruction and child care each year,” said Cissell. “We serve over 150 families and continue to have growing interest throughout different counties in the area.”
Since 1980, The Children's Learning Center by Goodwill has supported hundreds of children in graduating onto kindergarten and other education pathways. To enroll a student, or ask questions, call 812.207.2312 or visit us online.
