Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana recently celebrated the opening of its store in Lawrence, Indiana, on Tuesday, February 17. Located at 11615 Fox Road, the store features a large inventory of clothing, housewares, toys, books and more. Store hours are Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The store accepts donations during normal business hours.

least heard of Goodwill Outlet Stores: the place you buy by the pound, sort through the big blue bins and conveyor belts, and find surprises you really didn’t know you needed (or wanted). 

Walking into the Goodwill on Olio Road in Indianapolis, you can feel that something is different. The space is open, everything is well-organized and you can feel the sensation that you’re going to find something amazing.

When you walk into the Lawrence Goodwill store on Sunnyside Road in Indianapolis, it’s easy to notice the racks of clothing, shoes, and shelves of treasures waiting for a second home. But behind every stocked aisle is a story, and sometimes, even a cart full of them. That’s where Lucy comes in.

On September 9, The Greater Kokomo Economic Alliance and Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana came together to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Goodwill store on the west side of Kokomo (2222 West Sycamore Street (SR 22)). To commemorate the anniversary, a ribbon cutting was held at the front of the building, featuring speakers from both organizations.

On March 14, 2024, a series of storms swept through eastern Indiana, tearing through several towns and severely impacting homes and businesses. In Winchester, Indiana, Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana’s recently opened retail store was heavily damaged and had to be temporarily closed. 

After living with an addiction for 13 years and repeated involvement with the criminal justice system, Christina Clevenger was ready to turn over a new leaf, but her past made it difficult. In 2018, her close friend and roommate told her that they found a fresh start at Goodwill after facing similar challenges. Christina decided to apply and was hired as a part-time textile producer and cashier.
