Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana operates 75 retail stores that not only provide a place for the community to donate their gently used goods and shop for deals, but they also provide meaningful employment opportunities to Hoosiers.

Each year, Goodwill honors one of its retail stores with the Retail Site of the Year award, which recognizes the team’s commitment to Goodwill’s mission as well as its exceptional performance.

This year, we’re celebrating our store on Keystone Avenue in Indianapolis, which boasted an increase of 30% year-over-year on in-store sales. Of Goodwill’s 75 locations, Keystone is number one in donations received. 

On average, the store receives 94,000 donations a year from the local community, which requires a lot of organization and staff – 80% of whom have a barrier to employment, like a disability, criminal history or limited education.
