Every day, Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana empowers thousands of Hoosiers with
health, education and employment opportunities. For example, over 7,000 people have
graduated from our high schools since 2009. But this life-changing work simply would not be
possible without the support and collaboration of community partners.
Old National Bank is one such partner. As Goodwill prepared to operate a new manufacturing
site at 38th and Sheridan, the Old National Bank Foundation stepped up with a $50,000 grant to
ensure a successful launch. Once opened in early 2022, this site will create good-paying jobs
for over 100 neighborhood residents who, over the last few decades, have seen local
employment opportunities dry up.
Old National’s support goes beyond financial contributions however. Bank employees
volunteered in groups throughout 2021 at a time when an extra pair of hands (or more!) were
needed most. The bank is also represented on Goodwill’s Young Professionals Board.
“Serving on Goodwill's young professionals board lets me contribute directly to the mission of
empowering Hoosiers,” said Vice President Jason Millet.
Between their financial support, volunteer group activity and direct service from leaders like
Jason, Old National Bank makes the mission of Goodwill possible.
