Jay Oliver became a fan of Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana after touring The Excel Center, Indianapolis Metropolitan High School and Commercial Services facility. These tours allowed Jay to learn far more about Goodwill's mission and how much more there was to Goodwill than just a retail store.

The mission program that really stuck with Jay was Goodwill's maternal health program, Nurse-Family Partnership. Growing up as the child of a single parent, he knew the importance of providing support to new moms and how that could greatly impact a child. Taking a deep dive into how Goodwill implements the Nurse-Family Partnership program really hit home for him.

It was this personal connection to Goodwill's mission that drove Jay to research how Goodwill uses the funds that are donated to the Goodwill Foundation. As a financial services professional, it is important to him to wisely invest his funds—even his donations. Through vetting and continued research he determined Goodwill was the perfect organization to give to, and is now a proud financial donor to the Goodwill Foundation.
