Launched in 2012 and occurring on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement that harnesses the spirit of giving season to encourage people to do good.

At Goodwill, we celebrate GivingSHOESday – a twist on GivingTuesday. Whether you can give financially, or prefer to volunteer your time, Goodwill offers multiple ways for the community to give back.

As you’re cleaning out your closets and drawers to make space for the holidays, consider dropping off a box of donations at Goodwill. The proceeds from the purchase and sale of your donated goods stay in your community and help fund programs like The Excel Center®, Goodwill’s tuition-free high school for adults, where more than 8,500 Hoosiers, like Dakota McLaughlin, have earned their diploma.
