The Goodwill Young Leaders Board recently wrapped up another successful Gather for Goodwill event. This year’s theme, All Star Games, brought together more than 200 community members and supporters for an evening filled with friendly competition, great food and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Guests enjoyed classic backyard games, a lively atmosphere and a curated silent auction – all while learning more about how Goodwill’s mission goes far beyond retail stores. Thanks to the generosity of attendees and supporters, the event raised more than $15,000 that will directly support Goodwill’s mission-driven programs across central and southern Indiana.

“Gather for Goodwill is more than a fundraiser. It’s a chance for our community to come together, have fun and see firsthand how their support changes lives. It’s also an incredible opportunity for the Goodwill Young Leaders to champion our mission and demonstrate the powerful impact we can have when we invest in people and their potential,” said Rachel Cline Eble, senior vice president and chief philanthropy officer of the Goodwill Foundation of Central & Southern Indiana.

The Goodwill Young Leaders – a dedicated group of young professionals who volunteer their time and expertise – have been instrumental in supporting Goodwill’s mission since the group formed in 2014. Through events like Gather for Goodwill, the group has raised nearly $200,000 to fund initiatives such as school-based food pantries, bike share programs, technology for seniors and doula support for new mothers.

Goodwill is grateful to everyone who attended, placed a bid in the silent auction and contributed to making the evening a success. Your support ensures we can continue providing resources and opportunities to individuals and families we employ, educate, and serve across our communities.
